I am a software developer with a passion for utilizing technology for positive social impact and an educator with a love of growth mindset and doing hard things.
I transitioned into software development after five years in elementary education where I gained valuable skills in teaching, communication, organization, management, and so much more. My passion for education, psychology, and technology has led to a love of front-end programming because it allows me to focus on improving the user experience and finding ways to positively impact the lives of others. I also enjoy server side programming!
Outside of coding, I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, camping, gardening, and most recently, rock hounding 🏞 I also enjoy spending time with my family, reading a good book, and snuggling with the best cats in the whole world!
